Biography
A biography, often called a “bio,” is a complete look at a person’s life. It goes deeper than the surface of essential things like schooling, work, relationships, and death. Instead, it clearly shows and tells the story of a person’s journey through these important life events.
In contrast to a profile or curriculum vitae (résumé), which mainly lists facts, a biography carefully tells the story of a person’s life, focusing on the many different parts of that person’s life. These can be anything from personal events to private thoughts, and they often include an in-depth analysis of the person’s character that gives you a better idea of who they are.
